Menu for WB 10-13-13


MOST items on here are from the Saving Dinner cookbook by Leanne Ely.  The rest (and the "adjustments") are my idea, mostly courtesy of my budget and pocketbook!

Sunday
B Biscuits and gravy
L Fried egg sandwich on whole wheat bread, with tomatoes and cheese!  Soup
D Broiled fish, mustard buttered potatoes with dill, honeyed carrots (forgot I had fish thawed - needs to be used!)

Monday
B Toasted oats
L fish chowder
D Rice and cheese stuffed peppers, green beans

Tuesday
B Waffles
L tossed salad with all kinds of stuff!, Bleu cheese dressing
D Chicken????

Wednesday
B Fried eggs, toast
L sandwich
D Stir fry

Thursday
B Couscous
L frozen casserole or lo from previous night
Texas Caviar salad with lone star vinaigrette, whole grain rolls

Friday
B Fried apples
L lo lunch menu
chinese stir fried chicken and rice, salad, baby carrots

Saturday
B Homemade coffeecake
L meatloaf, baked potatoes, carrots,
D Tuna patties, tomatoes stewed southern style,

Sunday
B Omelet
L sandwich
D lo
