2016 06-05-16 - Week 23 (I think!) - LOTS new! (at least for me it is lots!) (and the first report this year!)
It's June already! FWIW I don't remember whether or not I ever counted yardage on the Log Cabin Flimsy. and KNOW I didn't count yardage on Buckeye Beauty. I don't think I'm going to count yardage on flimsies anymore - just count when the quilt is DONE DONE!
Plus - I am hopeful of backtracking all the way to January. Hopeful anyway! So for now - I am reporting JUST this past week - nothing more! Although I will have YTD and MTD totals run.
Oh - and this does NOT count the Tobacco Road Flimsy completed (to flimsy), Charleston baby quilt, nor Jamestown Landing flimsy! Why? They aren't Done Done - Yet!
STILL nothing finished this past week!!!! This HAS to change - if only because I do NOT want to be queen of the UFOs - and I'm #5 in the Queen's court right now!

Used Year to Date: (still totalling up the yards - 1 ginormous quilt and 1 Big boy quilt (bigger than a baby quilt, smaller than a twin!)

Net Used for 2016: + (Yup - I'm definitely in the black - just don't know how much in the black!) yards

So, we've established you're in the black...! Great work not buying anything! Good luck figuring up your projects. I don't count anything till it's quilted and bound.
I don't count fabric out either until the top is matched to a backing and sent to my quilter. Then I count the binding when it is complete. This keeps my number fairly accurate since I have 5 quilts at my quilters since January. They will all come home soon.
