What I did this past week and weekend!!!

Here's pictures of the Log cabin Quilt that I finished binding in January (not this past week - but also wasn't posted either!)  My daughter did all the quilt design of this (I did the piecing and the binding!)

Quilted and bound this past week.

Evan's "Big Boy" quilt

(he's being promoted to Big Brother in October!)

I did both walking foot quilting (straight lines)
as well as Free Motion Quilting (the flowers and leave -
which, of course, you can't see!)  First time FMQ on a big project!

You can almost see the blue thread of the flowers in this picture.
Almost, but not quite!

You can barely see the shadows on the backing for the design -
flowers with leaves!

Toes in the sand - a block I did a while ago.
I have one block that I haven't finished and am another one behind.
Plus I want to get the strips for the rest cut.  Fortunately this won't take long!

Retreat! June 6 - 9 - Week 22

GOALS - I think THIS retreat weekend will be a quilting weekend!  Goodness knows I sure need that!

This is a class project - and we have class on Sunday afternoon
I'll be working on block 5.
And will take my UGRR project with me!

Retreat weekend #1

I'm scheduling this weekend as a retreat weekend - for me and anyone who wants to join me on Skype!

It starts Friday - and will continue through to next TUESDAY afternoon!

At least that's the game plan!  Anyone who complains about the dust, I will give my dustrag to!

FIRST of all - I want to finish up the Bodacious baby quilt - 

Underground RR - needs sashing, borders, quilting and binding.
NOT planning on quilting just yet!

Jamestown Landing - my LE - BUT it also needs the main blocks!

Arizona Skies - aka Tequila Buzz - it's just that I like the colors - sort of like the colors in AZ!
Needs LOTS of putting together, borders and binding - not to count that at least one border is - gasp - pieced!
