Wahoo!  I FINALLY remembered the Lithium batteries!  Will be taking pictures today!  (and will post design wall this post AND the what I did this past week pix AFTER the Design wall post!)

First though, I have to press what I've done!

STILL working on stitching down the binding!
Some year I may actually get it done!

not this week!!!

  • *Stars and Strips  (orig. was Stars and Ribbons)(I don't have a picture of this one - sorry!)

  • *Valences -

  • Valences - needs sashing and turning into baby quilt.  Have a LOT of extra blocks!

*On Point BOM blocks
 - bring up to date!

On Point block 1 -
called "Broken Dishes" which is NOT
the broken dishes pattern I'm familiar with!

*Sampler - any re-do's remaining - and post pix to original group and individual members who haven't recieved blocks as of yet! January project!
Eons Old Swap - this block was sent out quite some time ago.
Pix of the newest blocks go up in a separate post tomorrow (Monday)

*Halloween wall hanging
Other Halloween items
The hanging has been untangled and the threads cut
that inadvertently were wound around the hoop!
Now to sew it back together!

WHAT I WORKED ON THIS PAST WEEK!  Not that I actually FINISHED anything... BUT this is what I WORKED on (in addition to babysitting, ignoring the housecleaning, being frustrated with the rain/mosquitos/weeds/hour of the day for gardening, and reading a LOT of books!- new homeschooling catalog arrived!!!)
The OLD homeschooling catalog.
Has more than 1350 pages and over 50,000 books and learning tools
This year's update of the catalog -
ONLY the new stuff - and already it has over 800 pages.
Now titled VOLUME 1
Virginia Bound from Scraps & Shirttails by Bonnie Hunter.
I have a lot (but by NO means do I have ALL!!!)  of the center parts of blocks done
I started working on this when I looked at my sewing room and the overabundance of SCRAPPY fabrics!!!

Flying Geese from Sew Quick Scrap Quilts by Leisure Arts

Pineapple Quilt from Sew Quick Scrap Quilts by Leisure Arts
A couple of blocks were started - BEFORE I found the directions to my pineapple ruler

(No picture - sorry!)
American Beauty from 40 Fabulous Quick-Cut Quilts by Evelyn Sloppy
Some of the blocks were cut out.  Currently frustrated with fabric choices!

Down the Garden Path from 40 Fabulous Quick-Cut Quilts by Evelyn Sloppy
This will use up a LOT of scrappy fabrics!!!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have some of the scrappy pieces cut out.
Will work on the rest all this week - LE style!
