Wednesday it is!



I copied Tuesday because I was NOT feeling so great - allergies?  Who knows!  Anyway - slept most of the day - and all night!  So - what I didn't finish YESTERDAY I hope to finish today.

I DID get 1 call to substitute - and - blast it anyway - hit the WRONG button - not once - but TWICE in the same phone call!!!!  Try again tomorrow!  Would have been an easy peasy day anyway - 3rd graders!!!! 


HOUSE (15 minutes at a time!)  4 x 15.
Hexies - with plastic bag they aren't nearly
as pretty as without the bag!

  • Zone 1 - Side porch - DECLUTTER 
  • Zone 2 - Kitchen floor again
  • Zone 3 - Laundry room - finish cleaning and set stuff back up - 
    • We can remove stuff AGAIN when Nathan gets back to fixing shelves!
  • WHB again!!!!
    • DONE Scrub floors 
    • DONE Fresh sheets
    • DONE Front and side porch doors and mirrors

of either strawberries or Kiwi fruit
GARDEN (15 minutes at a time!) 4 x 15 (I've been spending entirely too long outside!  But then (1) it's NICE out!  and (2) I can pretend I'm doing LOTS of exercise!!!)
  • DONE Put manure on sweet corn bed
  • DONE Put manure on Squash bed
  • Work on Raspberry patch - tame the blasted thing! and put on wires!
  • Prepare new beds for planting (onions, sweet potatoes, peas) 
STUDIES (15 minutes at a time!)  This will be a "Jump in where I am!"  No catchups allowed - UNTIL Sunday - which is alloted for that! ON HOLD FOR THIS WEEK



QUILT

Baby Quilt one - may or may not add borders.
Needs backing and quilting and binding - walking foot!
  • I may tie a quilt - to finish up for the Stashbuster challenge - it's a picnic flimsy that Peggy had made and given to me.
  • 1 Hexie a day (NO catchups)
  • Back to Square One - the April block
  • Walking Foot Sampler - pink sampler
  • WF - work on Baby Quilt #1 - FINISH to binding!
  • FMQ practice - Mark into quadrants.  Practice loops.
  • If I get a chance - work on Sampler swap stuff and FINISH - I want to send THIS!!!!

Needs the rest of this walking foot quilted - including border, binding
KITCHEN FOODS


  • DONE Stirred up and fed sourdough - divided into 2 parts - one for odd days, one for even (and don't even remind me that all my days are ODD!)
  • DONE Make rolls and bread - actually making bread - a LOT of bread - will probably keep this in the refrig and just cook up some daily - maybe. 
  • DONE Making hamburger rolls for tonight's dinner
  • DONE Started soup in crockpot for tomorrow - whatever it is in the frozen container from the freezer - probably beef bouillion - will have probably a mix of beans for soup in it
  • DONE Harvest whatever is in last year's cabbage beds!  this is still good to eat! - wash, slice, dice and freeze for more stir fry!  I think it is overgrown brussel sprouts and some collard greens (which look like they just came up this year!!!!
  • DONE Harvest leeks (last year's) for soup - maybe Wednesday????  Will check out soup in crockpot - may set some aside so I can make cream of leek soup - thursday - to take with me for lunch if I'm subbing
MENU - Wednesday

DONE Yummy! B: Omelet with cheese (mixture of last of the gorgonzola and some mozzarella - YUM!, Green tea
DONE L: leftover stir fry with rice
DONE D: Ground Turkey cheese burgers, pickles, coleslaw from last of the cabbage, oniony plants, rice
